The donations from the bazaar entree fee support our community service work. Throughout the year, we collect items such as toiletries and toys and donate them to organizations that support the wellbeing of women and children. We also collect canned food and donate them to local organizations in need during the Christmas holiday season.

 

Some examples of the local organizations we have supported in the past include: CRIBS Foundation, Kaibigan Outreach Foundation, and Bukas Palad Foundation of the Philippines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we partnered with the the International Care Ministries to provide meals, hygiene products, and medicine to families in need.

While hospitals in the Philippines do have safely screened, stored blood, and strictly adhere to the WHO standards, hospitals do not "bank" all eight blood types. Therefore, when a hospitalized patient needs a blood transfusion of any type, it falls to the resources of the patient and their family to find a healthy willing friend as a donor with a matching blood type.
